USA Middle Class is NOT a Bottomless Pit to Loot

commentary by Roger Erickson

"Nearly 6 million Americans - most of them in the middle class - will face a tax penalty for not carrying medical coverage once President Barack Obama's health care overhaul law is fully enacted."

I knew there was a catch, but it's just sinking in. Just another tax, if we don't submit to the FIRE segment.

That sellout might be touted as an incentive to practice preventive health maintenance, but that excuse is a joke. If that were the real goal, provide incentives to drink less sodas, eat less crappy food, be less obese, and stop excessive practice of things we didn't excessively practice prior to at least 1970. The F500 lobby wouldn't like that any more than the FIRE industries. It's very profitable to systematically make American's unhealthy, then twice as profitable
to make heroically expensive efforts to repair the self-inflicted damage.

If an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, they key fraud corollary is that a pound of cure is far more profitable to a few parasites, than is that ounce of prevention. It's all in the perspective, and situational awareness.

Meanwhile, the 1%, Upper Looting Class simply don't recognize that the USA is not a bottomless pit to loot. First we finally depleted the Grand Banks of cod, now we've depleted the US middle class of financial assets.

We could review the passenger pigeon & American Bison too. However the next targets are US middle class real assets, or what's left of them.

We finally got a moratorium to ONLY deplete whatever cod actually show up off the Grand Banks.

Can we at least suggest a moratorium to ONLY loot whatever middle class asset sticks it's head above the crowd - to get lopped off? That's not the end goal, but it has to at least be a start, for Pete's sake!

You have to wonder about the US electorate.

"Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is teaming up with health insurer Humana Inc. to get consumers to buy more healthy foods."

If that's a positive, why not just sell - at a discount - audio tapes repeating "Breathe In ... Breathe Out ... ?"

My friends at walmart say they listened to roger erickson, they like LOTS of coordination, so they can make themselves the middle men in it. That is a GREAT suggestion Erickson, they can coordinate the breathing lessons audiotape and profit on the distribution to the billions of consumers.

Now they say they want to teach group a to tie the left shoe of group b, and group b to tie the right shoe of group c, and group c to tie the left shoe of group A, then reverse, scale up and add 1 billion more groups to this process, increase thier coordination to tie each other shoes, while walmart remains the middleman and profits tremendously.

I tried to bend over and tie my own damn shoes, and there were so many groups bending over trying to tie each others shoes that I banged my head on thiers and fell down with a concussion. I have concluded the 1% are right, its time to get rid of ericksons and hickeys and mosler and normans, they are the 99% that must go so my maslow's hierachy of needs can be achieve along with the rest of my 1% friends.

Most of the 1% got that without a concussion. You must be a slow learner. :)

BTW, did you catch this yesterday at HuffPo?

Walmart Warehouse Workers Rally In Downtown LA Ends 6-Day Pilgrimage

After braving 103-degree heat as they marched over the past six days, warehouse workers who deliver goods for Walmart concluded their 50-mile pilgrimage protesting working conditions with a rally in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday. Met by hundreds of supporters on the steps of LA City Hall, the weary workers told the crowd that conditions in the Inland Empire warehouses where they work are even worse than the heat and exhaustion they experienced over the past six days.
"The march, walking in the heat, was very easy compared to working in the warehouse," Raymond Castillo, a 23-year-old warehouse worker who marched with the group, told The Huffington Post.

At least something worse didn't happen when he bent over.

"If Labor Dies, What's Next?"

Easy, they put the remains on life-support, refuse to let 'em die, and contract it out to the lowest bider form the FIRE industy.

ps: It's already happened. Show me a labor union that isn't bent over on the sidewalk somewhere, grabbing it's socks.

Roger, thanks for the post link about FIRE Industries. I'm still learning and think I also forgot about the NAICS. It should help me go further.

Middleaged don't forget to watch this video by Navy Seal Jesse Ventura.

He tells you about return on coordination, he wants data directly from boots on the ground so he is an informed electorate, not from the media or from the government.
